Do you really love anything?

What is it you really love to do? I myself cannot answer this question, and it makes me sad. "Wait, Matt, you don't love to do anything?" I do love a lot. i love life, but after hearing about this i must ask the question, "what do you love to do?"

As you read this there is a man named Alexander Bailey Martin canoeing across America. He is taking 6 months to do this. His journey is over 6,000 miles. 2,000 miles are against the current, 3,500 with it, and over 600 miles of portaging (carrying canoe and equipment over land). A friend of mine knows Alexander and says, "he loves to canoe more than anything else." This is the first time a person will have canoed across the country. It is a unique and intense trip, a trip that is intimidating and makes me say, "i would hate that". But Alexander Bailey Martin loves it. He is doing what he loves. I think this is the problem with America, especially the north east. We are too ready to settle. We are too eager to please. We are not eager enough to please ourselves and just do it. A little more recklessness could do us some good. Stop thinking perfection is the end. Please, for your own sake, fail a little.

So what is it you love? once you find out do it, and do it unapologeticly.
